BACK STORY/BACKGROUND

Two brothers CHANDER and RAVI are placed with their grandfather after the disappearance of their parents. GRANDFATHER raised the two brothers as honorable young men.  GRANDFATHER taught them about the gods and about the land in which they lived. For many summers around the fire GRANDFATHER will talk of old wars and the betrayals among the gods. He spoke of a snake with eight heads that was protector of one of the greatest gifts the gods ever bestowed.

GRANDFATHER trained the brothers to be prepared for all things. He trained them in combat and trained their minds.  GRANDFATHER could not teach the brothers all things,GRANDFATHER enlisted RAVI and CHANDER in a school in the city. For years GRANDFATHER prepared meals and took care of CHANDER and RAVI. Attending school CHANDER met a young woman by name of ROSHNI KAMAL. For many years CHANDER did not have the courage to tell ROSHNI his feelings.

As teenagers the brothers played and fought but their skills became obvious to their GRANDFATHER. CHANDER built broad and strong while kind and observant has the skill to see great distances and absorb pain. RAVI has the same abilities however his mind is for pleasure and jest.  CHANDER and RAVI both love and envy one another.

After living in the city away from their GRANDFATHER, CHANDER and RAVI return to visit their GRANDFATHER for a vacation. CHANDER and RAVI enjoy hunting and fishing along the riverbank. For many years, GRANDFATHER would smoke and relax and watch from afar as boys played and fished along the riverbank. GRANDFATHER thought this visit would be the same as the rest. This is where our story begins.
